Sitauted in the quieter region of the north east of Ibiza, San Carlos is ithin easy reach of both Santa Eulaia and Ibiza Town. It also offers easy access to the beaches and coves of the north east which tend to be slightly quieter during high season.
For a small town there are a surprising number of nice restaurants, each with their own charm and certainly busy, so if you really want to make sure you get a seat in high season, then it is best to book in advance. One place worth mentioning is the infamous Anita's Bar. This small local restaurant began life as the island meeting point, with the one and only phone line and, of course, the post office! A real Ibizan institution it would be a shame to miss it if you are in the area, even if it is just for a coffee or a cold beer.

The church of San Carlos is situated in the heart of the town and is still very much a functioning building in the community...if you are lucky you might even see a wedding or other special event taking place. The area of greenery around the church makes the white washed walls look even more pristine and it is hard to resist a peak inside.
