Quiet bay nestled in the north east corner of Ibiza
This quiet beach resort is popular with those who would prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the San Antoni and Ibiza Town clubbing scenes.
Situated in a calm bay, the beach is backed by restaurants, cafés and hotels.
The surrounding area is hilly with many stunning luxury villas perched on outcrops offering spectacular views along the east coast. A walk up to the north east of the town is a great idea if you fancy seeing 'how the other half live' - some of the villas up here are incredibly modern, secluded and have fantastic views.
There are some walking trails, but it's best to ask a local for precise directions as none of the paths are marked and it's easy to get lost. A popular walk is to the lighthouse at Punta Grossa - but this is definitely one for local knowledge. We tried to find it by ourselves and ran out of time...without even a glimpse. However, the views alone were worth our exploration.
The beach itself is fairly large and wide, and even in high season you can find a spot to settle down for the day.
