Cala de Boix Beach, East Ibiza

Great snorkelling spot on the east coast, popular with fish lovers

featured in Beaches Updated

Situated in the north east of the island, not far from San Carlos, this grey sandy beach is a favourite for fish lovers.

A great beach for snorkelling and the beach-side restaurants are famous for their fresh catch of the day. This is a small beach, 100m long, with not much to do other than relax and enjoy the peace.

There are sun loungers and umbrellas available, but you won't find the usual watersports on offer as with the busier beaches further south.

Setting & Location

The beaches and bays on this stretch of coastline are well known for their quiet nature, much of this is due to the fact that they are really only reachable by car or moped. Although more remote, they are worth finding and exploring.

Beach Quality

The sand here is grey and slightly coarse, but still soft and comfortable to lay a towel down without the need for a sun lounger.
