This restaurant serves dishes with a modern take on fresh, healthy Mediterranean food, where bold flavours, organic produce and innovative sharing platters dominate.
Aiyanna is run by Oskar Reboredo who started his professional career working under chef Mike Uría in José Luis Restaurant in Madrid and learnt his trade in several prestigious Spanish restaurants including Botafumeiro, Les Catre Gats and Shoko in Barcelona. In 2002 Oskar moved to London where he worked in the kitchens of some of the most innovative restaurants such as Sketch, by the emblematic Pierre Garnier, whose elaborate fusion cuisine gained him three Michelin Stars and the Michelin Star Japanese restaurant Zuma.
Oskar's own success came when he became head chef at the L restaurant, which was awarded 'Restaurant of the Year' by Modern Iberian Food in 2006. During this time he also won the 'UK Best Dish Award' from the Restaurant Magazine for his dish “Courgette flowers stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and Cantabric anchovies in beetroot tempura”. In 2006 Oskar was also recommended by the Michelin Guide and collaborated weekly with The Guardian newspaper where he published his own recipes.
Oskar's cuisine at Aiyanna is seasonal, fresh and healthy and has a nod towards the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean.
The menu is complemented by a selection of wines, cavas and champagnes as well as Aiyanna specialist cocktails and fresh juices.
