Markets
Many of the island’s iconic markets continue to thrive in November, with Ibiza remaining an excellent choice for a spot of retail therapy at this time of year.
The world-famous Las Dalias keeps going throughout the winter, brightening up Saturdays with a colourful and eclectic market in San Carlos.
Deeper in the countryside lies Forada market which is a popular local event, though a little off the beaten track for tourists, found on the road that connects San Antonio and San Rafael.
Alternatively, Sant Joan artisan market is the place to be for Ibizan produce and artisanal stalls, where visitors can enjoy a lively atmosphere.
Wine tasting
November is a lovely time of year to visit the beautiful Ibizan countryside and a tour and tasting at one of the award-winning vineyards dotted around the rural inland areas of the island is a wonderful activity. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about Ibiza’s history of wine production, the island's vineyards are still open but visits for the public are often limited, so we recommend booking in advance.
Visit the capital of Ibiza
November is a great time to visit the island's capital, and it can easily be explored in a long weekend.
Historic old town
Hike up to the iconic Dalt Vila fortress and wander the cobbled streets of the historic old town, remark on the mediaeval architecture of the cathedral and castle, or visit the Archaeological museum.
Flashy Port
Below Dalt Villa, visit the Port of Ibiza and discover its Phonecian history. Stroll the promenade and gaze at the impressive yachts lined along the marina. Stop for a coffee in the charming cafés in this area.
Retail therapy and gastronomy
Of course, many people come to Ibiza Town for the wonderful shopping, with a wealth of boutiques, markets, designer and high street brands to explore. Dotted amongst them, there is an excellent selection of restaurants and cafés to rest those weary feet.
