Cala Mastella Cove, East Ibiza

Small but perfectly formed beach on the east coast, with water great for snorkelling

featured in Beaches Updated

This is a delightful little cove surrounded by fishing huts and pine trees.

Described as untouched and idyllic, the water is pristine, so a favourite for snorkellers.

It doesn't get too busy, but this could be to do with that fact that it can be hard to find and that there is basically no parking nearby. Be prepared to find a spot along the road and walk...or maybe you can get to it by the sea.

You will find a handful of umbrellas and sun loungers here and locals enjoying the natural beauty of the area. There is a fantastic fish restaurant where the owner serves whatever has been caught that day.

Setting & Location

This small beach is situated in a tiny cove on the east coast of Ibiza, roughly half way between Cala San Vicente and Santa Eulalia. it's only real purpose is the shack style restaurant that sits atop the craggy rocks and jetty.

Beach Quality

Little-to-no actual beach area, if you can find a spot of soft sand then you will be doing well.

Watersports Nearby

This is a popular place for boats to visit as they can moor on the small jetty and deposit their passengers at the restaurant.
