Ibiza Town is made up of three seperate areas, the Dalt Vila (Old Town), the port town and the marinas. biza Port and the Old Town of Eivissa (Ibiza) are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and have as much to offer in history and culture as they do in luxury yachting and clubbing.
Ibiza Town has its fair share of fancy dining options but you will just as easily find a local tapas bar that will satisfy your needs. Ince again the marina are is where you will find the more upmarket establishments as this is where the superyacht owners will choose to dine. The Old Town has a variety of traditional Spanish and Mediterranean style restaurants that are popular with locals and tourists alike. Seafood is of course high on the menu with a wonderufl choice of locally caught produce on the menu of most restaurants.

The area of Dalt Vila and the Eivissa Cathedral are two of the most popular sights to visit in Ibiza Town, but alongside these you will find much much more. There are a multitude of galleries and museums in the Dalt Vila to be explored and that will give you a full history of the island, its culture, heritage and architecture. It is only a short walk up to the top of the Dalt Vila, but it can be steep and in the midday heat it will be exhausting...but worth the visit.

A less exclusive alternative is to hire a scooter and explore the island inland and the beaches along the coast. Beach hopping with your own transport is a delight and a must if you want to make the most of your time in Ibiza.

The island of Ibiza is known for its 'superclubs' and Ibiza Town is no stranger to these with the infamous Pacha being situated just north of the marina area and Space in Playa d'en Bossa. There are also plenty of smaller late night clubs situated deep within the heart of the Old Town, or Dalt Vila, including several gay bars and a few speciality bars, such as the infamous Absinthe Bar and Swami Fruit Cocktail bar. The marina areas in particular are where you will find the classy, upmarket night spots, with the Old Town offering more of an eclectic and unique vibe. The beach area of Playa d'en Bossa hosts the party crowd with bars, dancing and loud music all night long.
