Boat trip to Formentera island

If you're looking for the easiest way to get from Ibiza to visit the Island of Formentera for the day, this is the trip to take. The shuttle ferry operates year-round and is the cheapest way to get to the small, beautiful island by boat. Once on Formentera island, you'll have as long as you want to explore in your own time.
The ferry departs at regular times throughout the day so you can be flexible. Journeys start from 10:30 to Formentera and the last departure back to Ibiza is at 20:30.
There are also summer routes connecting Formentera with Playa d'en Bossa, Figueretes and San Antonio as well as running between different Ibizan coastal towns.

As part of the "new town" this lovely promenade was built in 1912 and named after the Ibizan soldier Joaquin Vara del Ray who was killed in action, whilst bravely fighting against America in 1898. As a dedication, there is a monument in the pedestrianised square opposite Vara del Ray.
A series of vaulted rooms, the museum houses a collection of paintings and engravings made by local and international artists since the 1960's to the present day.
