Serral Beach

A quiet beach located close to the town of San Antonio in the west

Location
Sant Antoni
Imprint
Updated

This pleasant small beach is within walking distance along the coast from San Antonio town centre, around 30-40 minutes walk. You can also easily take a bus or water taxi over from the main town.

Only 40m long, Serral is a small beach and somewhat urban looking with its concrete sand barriers and brick wall at the back, but it does have soft white sand and turquoise blue water.

Pedalos, sun loungers and parasols will be available to rent here in peak season.

Setting & Location

You can find Serral beach easily enough, by walking from either of the neighbouring beaches along the coastline or by walking along the main road Carrer de Cala de Bou until you are opposite the Muy Thai restaurant or Sundown Ibiza hotel, you’ll see a large painted sign pointing you to The Beach and it’s a short walk from there.

Limited parking is available at the east end of the beach and pay parking is available off the main road. On that road you’ll also find all manner of restaurants, shops and supermarkets should you need to pick up anything for your day at the beach.

Water Safety & Clarity

Soft white sand and turquoise waters. At the centre of the beach the sea bed is clear of rocks and has a shallow sandy gradient, at either side of the sand plenty of rocks border the beach making this a snorkellers playground especially over by the stone jetty from which you can see schools of fish darting about.

There is never a life guard service on this beach, there are no toilets or showers here either although the fully serviced Reggae beach is only a five minute walk around the coastal path.

Watersports Nearby

There are pedalos for rent here, but apart from that this is very much a leisure beach, so grab your towel, take a book and prepare to relax.
