This tower from the 14th century was built on the ancient roman acropolis walls and refurbished to create a peaceful luxury hotel right in the heart of the Old Town.
Set amongst the quiet streets of the Old Town of Ibiza this hotel is a little slice of tranquillity on an Island bustling with nightlife and party goers. Calm and quiet whilst still being right at the heart of the city, the location couldn't be more perfect.
One of the most romantic and glamorous hotels in the city, it boasts breathtaking views over the sea and the marina. They offer a range of bedrooms: basic doubles, standards, superior with views and three types of suites including one with a spectacular terrace with jacuzzi.
The spectacular views from the roof top swimming pool are one of the main reasons for booking a room at this hotel. Enjoy a cocktail at sundown on the terrace at the top of the Dalt Vila.
Who should go...
Perfect for anyone looking for a very special and peaceful get-away but still wanting to be near the buzz of the city. May not be suitable for people with restricted mobility as it is situated at the top of Old town which has limited vehicle access and steep paths and roads to the top.
Cobbled streets and historic buildings make up this interesting and peaceful part of Ibiza Town. The Old Town (Dalt Vila) contains many of the museums and art galleries that preserve and display Ibizan culture as it has developed through the centuries, many artefacts dating back to the original settlements in the seventh century.
The rooftop of the hotel hosts not only the terrace, bar and restaurant but also a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. With sun loungers and some shade provided from the trees which enhance this rooftop space, it is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sunshine as well as the views over the sea and harbour of Ibiza Town.
Their rooftop bar is open year round for cocktails with views over the sea and the marina. Make sure you're there for sunset... it's spectacular.
The hotel has a rooftop gourmet Japanese restaurant, Kyupiddo, on a terrace boasting some of the best views in the city. Open only during the summer
- "Really beautiful hotel, have nothing bad to say about it. :) The room is amazing and the facilities are really good too. Nice location and very fancy and romantic." - Trip Advisor
- "I stayed for 3 nights at the very end of the season. The Torre gave me everything I could have hoped for: peace, quiet and comfort. My room was one of the smaller ones ( no. 7) without the stunning view but the bed was incredibly comfortable, there was masses of storage space and the bathroom well appointed. It is quite a walk up to the hotel but there's no need to rush or you'd miss wandering through the pretty alleyways and quaint streets of the old town. It's a 15 minute walk down to the centre of town, then another 20 minutes or so round the marina to Talamanca beach. Or you can walk for about half an hour in the other direction through Figueretas to Playa d'en Bossa. " - Trip Advisor
- "The hotel is situated on top of the hill that is the old town, and the walk through the cobbled streets only adds to the ambience.no big deal if you take your time, we loved the oldness of this hotel and the newness of excellent service, thankyou!" - Trip Advisor
Ibiza Town is made up of three seperate areas, the Dalt Vila (Old Town), the port town and the marinas. biza Port and the Old Town of Eivissa (Ibiza) are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and have as much to offer in history and culture as they do in luxury yachting and clubbing.
Ibiza Town has its fair share of fancy dining options but you will just as easily find a local tapas bar that will satisfy your needs. Ince again the marina are is where you will find the more upmarket establishments as this is where the superyacht owners will choose to dine. The Old Town has a variety of traditional Spanish and Mediterranean style restaurants that are popular with locals and tourists alike. Seafood is of course high on the menu with a wonderufl choice of locally caught produce on the menu of most restaurants.

The area of Dalt Vila and the Eivissa Cathedral are two of the most popular sights to visit in Ibiza Town, but alongside these you will find much much more. There are a multitude of galleries and museums in the Dalt Vila to be explored and that will give you a full history of the island, its culture, heritage and architecture. It is only a short walk up to the top of the Dalt Vila, but it can be steep and in the midday heat it will be exhausting...but worth the visit.

How can you resist the urge to head out into the sun on a luxury yacht from the marinas of Ibiza Town... Chartering a yacht is perhaps one of the most exciting, relaxing and luxurious activites you can do from this historic town. A less exclusive alternative is to hire a scooter and explore the island inland and the beaches along the coast. Beach hopping with your own transport is a delight and a must if you want to make the most of your time in Ibiza.

The island of Ibiza is known for its 'superclubs' and Ibiza Town is no stranger to these with the infamous Pacha being situated just north of the marina area and Space in Playa d'en Bossa. There are also plenty of smaller late night clubs situated deep within the heart of the Old Town, or Dalt Vila, including several gay bars and a few speciality bars, such as the infamous Absinthe Bar and Swami Fruit Cocktail bar. The marina areas in particular are where you will find the classy, upmarket night spots, with the Old Town offering more of an eclectic and unique vibe. The beach area of Playa d'en Bossa hosts the party crowd with bars, dancing and loud music all night long.

The best way to arrive at the hotel is to book an airport transfer with the hotel themselves. Taxi''s are reluctant to take you straight to the door as the area is full of narrow cobbled streets and historic buildings. However the hotel transfer will have you straight from airport to hotel door in 20 minutes.
