This pleasant small beach is within walking distance along the coast from San Antonio town centre, around 30-40 minutes walk. You can also easily take a bus or water taxi over from the main town.

The church of San Antonio dates back to the 14th century, however like many other churches, only some of the original building remains.

The 19th century Esglesia de Sant Agusti is a large stone building whitewashed in typical Balearic style and topped with a bell tower, it is distinctive when compared to other Ibizan churches by its lack of porch area common to most.

The cave of Ses Fontanelles is situated in an area of beautiful rocky cliffs between Santa Agnes and San Antonio. Inside, there are pre-historic paintings.

Situated in the west of Ibiza the small town of Santa Agnes comprises just two restaurants and a beautiful church.

Situated a little away from the town centre in the older part of San Rafael the church is white washed in the traditional fashion.

San Antonio is the town by which many people define Ibiza. During the 1980's the town hit a development boom, as tourists (mainly English), flocked in their thousands to visit the sunny resort and dance the night away.

This pretty village sits on top of a hill and is definitely off the beaten track, located 19km west of Ibiza town, just pass the town of San Josep.

The large area of Sant Josep covers mainly the whole south west of the island and is a gateway to some of the island's most beautiful beaches and to the islet of Es Vedra.

Past San Rafael, above San Antonio, is the small village of Santa Agnes, only 18km north west of the town of Ibiza, this is really in the sticks. 

Heading out north west on the main road from Ibiza to San Antonio, after 7km, lies the small village of San Rafael. 

Just off the western coast of the island lies an small archipelago of uninhabited islands. The largest of these is Illa de sa Conillera, literally translated at "rabbit island", due to its residents.
