- "I'll make it short but sweet: Staff here are top notch. Great service from the moment I checked in right through to check out. The young guy who took my luggage up talked me through everything - the AC controls, wi-fi, mini bar, the lot. Nice touch. Location is perfect as it's pretty much in the middle of everything." - Trip Advisor
- "Hotel reopened a day before our arrival after a long makeover but the whole team was so professional and well trained that one did not recognise that. The best hotel stay (I am staying in hotels frequently) in many years!! Best hotel and team I have experienced ever!! Congratulations to the hotel... fantastic service!!!" - Trip Advisor
- "Best hotel that we stayed at. Not cheap but you feel the 5-star treatment right from the friendly beautiful people who check you into the fluffy white towels in the bathroom to the overall 'tres chic' vibe of the whole hotel. Absolutely loved it and the fact that it is the oldest hotel in Ibiza added some fun history to the stay." - Trip Advisor
Situated in the south east of the island the Old Town sits on top of a small hill and is surrounded on three sides by water. the old port is now home to one fo the most exclusive marinas in the world, Ibiza Magna where the superyachts gather, and directly opposite are the luxurious marinas of Botafoch and Marina Ibiza. To the north and south of the town are picturesque white sand beaches, while to the west you will find rolling hills, ancient towers and the valley of Benimussa.
Ibiza Town is made up of three separate areas, the Dalt Vila (Old Town), the port town and the marinas. Ibiza Port and the Old Town of Eivissa (Ibiza) are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and have as much to offer in history and culture as they do in luxury yachting and clubbing.
Ibiza Town has its fair share of fancy dining options but you will just as easily find a local tapas bar that will satisfy your needs. Once again the marina are is where you will find the more upmarket establishments as this is where the superyacht owners will choose to dine. The Old Town has a variety of traditional Spanish and Mediterranean style restaurants that are popular with locals and tourists alike. Seafood is of course high on the menu with a wonderful choice of locally caught produce on the menu of most restaurants.
Book My Restaurant
The area of Dalt Vila and the Eivissa Cathedral are two of the most popular sights to visit in Ibiza Town, but alongside these you will find much much more. There are a multitude of galleries and museums in the Dalt Vila to be explored and that will give you a full history of the island, its culture, heritage and architecture. It is only a short walk up to the top of the Dalt Vila, but it can be steep and in the midday heat it will be exhausting... but worth the visit.

How can you resist the urge to head out into the sun on a luxury yacht from the marinas of Ibiza Town... Chartering a yacht is perhaps one of the most exciting, relaxing and luxurious activities you can do from this historic town. A less exclusive alternative is to hire a scooter and explore the island inland and the beaches along the coast. Beach hopping with your own transport is a delight and a must if you want to make the most of your time in Ibiza.
Book My Things To Do
The closest beach to Ibiza town is just to the north round the coastline from the marina, the family beach resort of Talamanca. Further to the north you will find many more bays, coves and beaches that can be explored. To the south you are also spoilt for choice as you can walk along to Figueretas and then on to the long white sands of Playa d'en Bossa.
There is only one golf course on the island of Ibiza and it is situated just north of Ibiza Town on the east coast. It has both a 9 hole and an 18 hole course and, although it is a private club, it is also open to members of the public.
Book My Round
The island of Ibiza is known for its 'superclubs' and Ibiza Town is no stranger to these with the infamous Pacha being situated just north of the marina area and Space in Playa d'en Bossa. There are also plenty of smaller late night clubs situated deep within the heart of the Old Town, or Dalt Vila, including several gay bars and a few speciality bars, such as the infamous Absinthe Bar and Swami Fruit Cocktail bar. The marina areas in particular are where you will find the classy, upmarket night spots, with the Old Town offering more of an eclectic and unique vibe. The beach area of Playa d'en Bossa hosts the party crowd with bars, dancing and loud music all night long.
