After the end of the summer shenanigans, the spirit of Ibiza continues this month.
Every year, in late August to September, Ibiza is home to the festival of Sant Bartomeu. The Patron saint of the Sant Antoni area is celebrated with two weeks full of cultural events and fiestas including fireworks, music, art and sporting events that culminate in the hilarious annual Romans Versus Carthaginians tomato fight.
A musical gathering with the intention of celebration, connection, inspiration, healing, and expansion through music, dance, art & love. The Wake Up Ibiza Festival returns this September Thursday 10th for a second instalment of the festival-style afternoon of healing and higher consciousness in the gardens of Benimussa Park.
There is no denying that Ibiza Rocks is one of the ultimate hot spots to visit this summer. With a banging line-up of acts and an incredible venue for them to perform in, not to mention drink prices that don’t require a platinum card, Ibiza Rocks has got what we’re looking for and that is something just a little bit different.
One of the most glorious months thanks to the magnetic energy that spreads across the isle.
Beautiful Cala Benirras is situated in the north of the island and has acquired a reputation for itself as being a 'must-see' spot on your Ibizan tour due to its hippy heritage, stunning sunsets and the drummers who congregate there to drum down the sunset.
Fantastic events, warm weather and stunningly blue skies.
Ibiza's long history brings with it numerous traditional fairs and festivals
Ibiza town was transformed this weekend and sent back into the dark ages with the arrival of the annual Medieval Festival, which took over the old town Dalt Vila from the 5th to the 8th of May. For four days the town became a swarming hive of bizarre and theatrical activity as upwards of 50,000 people descended upon Ibiza Town to help celebrate its rich and multi cultural past.
The weather is positively blooming in February, a perfect destination for a winter break.
As part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the Las Dalias market, Manu Chao and his band took to the stage on a warm sunny Friday evening at the beginning of May.
A delightful month, providing a sneaky taste of the impending summer season.
Ibiza Rocks, the home of live music in Ibiza, has come through once again. An amazing night of real bands, real music and real rock with the Kaiser Chiefs lighting up the stage with all the energy of their original explosion into peoples Indie Rock hearts over 10 years ago.
When one hears Music Festival and Ibiza in the same sentence a whole lot of images spring to mind but I can assure you your vivid imagination would have been way off about what went down on Sunday June 19th to the annual Ai Carai Festival in San Carlos, Northern Ibiza.
Ibiza is one of the sunniest spots in Europe, the best place to organise one of the last events of the trail running season. The Ibiza Trail Marathon was celebrated last Saturday with the victories of Franco Collé from Italy, and the local Ibizan runner Sabina Corral as the first woman to cross the finish line.
Beautiful blue skies and glorious sunshine - the perfect excuse to get out and explore.
Although Ibiza has gained notoriety for its exceptional offering of clubbing and electronic music, the island has much more to offer its visitors when it comes to entertainment. Throughout the year, there is an abundance of traditional fiestas, fairs and grand events celebrated on the island which means that, no matter what time of the year you visit, there is always something exciting going on.
Sant Jordi is a quiet little place just outside of Ibiza Town that you’d probably never thought to visit. On a Saturday morning however it becomes the place-to-be due to its large and quirky market that is more boot sale than boho chic.
