With each new year the anticipation and excitement starts building - when are the first Ibiza nightclubs and beach clubs opening their doors, and where are the hottest places to party this year?
Summer has officially descended on the island this month, with sizzling temperatures.
It’s that time of year again, September has hit, the closing parties have begun and one of the first to close up their 2016 Ibiza residency was one of the surprise hits of the summer: The Craig David TS5 pool party. This event has been taking over Ibiza Rocks hotel every Sunday of the summer and the last one swung into action on September 4th. It was the busiest by far as crowds arrived early to catch the man in action for the last time – at least for this summer.
Somethings are just mandatory for your time in Ibiza and hitting up a pool party is definitely one of them. This summer the pool party crown is likely to be placed on the head of multi-platinum selling, comeback kid Craig David and his TS5 event. He is bringing his friends and taking over Sundays with a residency at the Ibiza Rocks hotel, every week from 17th July to 4th September 2016.
Although Ibiza has gained notoriety for its exceptional offering of clubbing and electronic music, the island has much more to offer its visitors when it comes to entertainment. Throughout the year, there is an abundance of traditional fiestas, fairs and grand events celebrated on the island which means that, no matter what time of the year you visit, there is always something exciting going on.
Ibiza Rocks, the home of live music in Ibiza, has come through once again. An amazing night of real bands, real music and real rock with the Kaiser Chiefs lighting up the stage with all the energy of their original explosion into peoples Indie Rock hearts over 10 years ago.
There is no denying that Ibiza Rocks is one of the ultimate hot spots to visit this summer. With a banging line-up of acts and an incredible venue for them to perform in, not to mention drink prices that don’t require a platinum card, Ibiza Rocks has got what we’re looking for and that is something just a little bit different.
Sunday saw the grand finale of the 2nd Annual Ibiza Pride Festival and after a week of events, parties and celebrations it certainly closed in style with a parade through the streets of Ibiza old town and a street party on the Vara De Ray.
