Semanta Santa / Holy Week
‘Semana Santa' is a huge religious celebration in Spain and celebrations take place during the full Holy Week of Easter in March or April each year. This is a spectacular event to see making it a great time to visit Ibiza. Throughout the week processions will take place across the island and the streets are filled with residents paying their respects.
Ruta de la Sal Regatta
For lovers of all things nautical, the island’s gorgeous turquoise seas become the perfect setting for water-based activities. Taking place in April each year, the prestigious regatta sees over 200 boats arrive at the port of San Antonio. With three routes departing from Barcelona, Dénia and Mallorca, guests can enjoy endless views of beautiful boats participating in a simply stunning Mediterranean race. Each year, the fascinating event sees a variety of fun-filled activities on offer throughout the town, including exhibits, stalls and live music.
Marathon time
The Ibiza Marathon tends to take place in April, taking participants on a journey around the island’s glorious terrain and crossing the finish line in the charming town of Santa Eulalia. The exciting competition draws many people every year, and is a great opportunity for visitors to discover Ibiza.
