Ibiza is well known for its phenomenal offering of parties and all-year-round feel-good vibes. As a paradise for lovers of music and dance since the 1970s, the island provides an unparalleled level of clubbing that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world. This year, Ibiza is set for another incredible year, with a wealth of events expected to attract international DJs, talented performers and lively crowds.

For clubbing enthusiasts, a trip to the White Isle is the opportunity of a lifetime, offering a multitude of options in a variety of unforgettable settings. From impressive superclubs to sunset boat parties, there is something to suit every musical taste, mood and routine. So, if you're planning to fly out to Ibiza this year, here's our month by month guide on the best parties, festivals and events on the island.

Sundays become the new Saturday in January, with some great events taking place on this traditional day of rest. Each week, Cotton Beach Club invites you to indulge in their Champagne and Bloody Mary Brunch while its resident DJs provide the ultimate soundtrack to complement a chilled day at the beach. If you want to continue the fun, Ibiza Town’s coolest hangout, Paradise Lost, has organised a series of parties every Sunday. Inspired by Milton's poem about temptation in the Garden of Eden, the bar offers a unique drinking experience and is the place to be for connoisseurs of cocktails and fine rum.

For those looking for a different take on going out in Ibiza, January also sees a number of rock concerts hosted at Can Rock throughout the month. Located in Cala de Bou, the venue is a popular hangout for islanders who want to enjoy live music without the expensive price tag.

Although most of the nightclubs on the island close their doors for the winter, there are still some great times to be had on Ibiza’s dancefloors in February. Fusing music with The Arts, B12 Gallery has remained open this winter and has some great events planned throughout the month. The party capital of San Antonio is also set for a busy February with a number of festivities organised in an extended celebration of their patron saint. Expect street parties, concerts and a host of other lively events, including the ‘Festa Anem de Palanca’ on February 10th, where eclectic music will fill the town’s streets.

With the arrival of spring, warmer temperatures provide delightful conditions for outdoor parties. Bringing colour and vibrancy to the charming village of San Jose, the annual Flower Power Festival will form part of the celebrations for the town’s patron saint which is commemorated this month. As well as music from the 60s and 70s, the popular street party will also feature fairground rides, food stalls and fun activities for children. Tucked away on a lavish beachfront property, the global beach brand Nikki Beach makes a welcome return in April. Now in its 7th season, the exclusive beach club provides guests with a luxurious seafront retreat, boasting an abundance of luxurious facilities and services. As well as a restaurant and pool, visitors can take advantage of the many beauty treatments on offer.

Amante Ibiza also returns this month, opening its doors to the public on April 17th. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Sol d’en Serra bay, the idyllic beach club provides the perfect balance between relaxation and sophistication. Its sister venue, Aiyanna Ibiza follows the trend, resuming service on April 16th. Providing a chic ambience, the beach club blends good food with wellness on Cala Nova’s picturesque bay. Epitomising laidback luxuriousness, the opening party promises to be good for your mind, body and soul.

As summer rapidly approaches, May sees many of the island’s much-loved venues reopen for the summer season. With highly anticipated opening parties scheduled throughout the month, the island is struck with an infectious vibe. Café Mambo kicks off the season on May 10th, with the award-winning super club Amnesia Ibiza following suit on May 11th. San Antonio’s favourite daytime pool party Ibiza Rocks reopens on May 17th, welcoming Craig David back for his fourth consecutive season. The powerhouses of Playa d’en Bossa, Ushuaia and Hï Ibiza, are not far behind, as they both reopen on May 18th.

The annual International Music Summit also takes place this month and will be held between May 22nd and 24th this year. Attended by leaders in the music industry, the event offers a myriad of networking opportunities. The conference’s closing celebrations will include a concert at the top of majestic Dalt Vila and will be headlined by star DJs.

Boasting glorious sunshine and warm temperatures, June is the perfect month to get out and enjoy the many wonders of the island. Embarking from the jetty of Playa d’en Bossa, the Only Ibiza Boat Party includes an unlimited open bar as well as a ton of water activities and a foam party. What better way to top up your tan than by dancing the day away across the Mediterranean Sea? If you want to continue the party once back on dry land, entrance to some of Ibiza's best clubs are also included in the ticket price. Now that summer is well underway, visitors to the white isle will find themselves spoilt for choice in clubbing options. Back by popular demand, Resistance returns to Privilege Ibiza for nine weeks of pure techno bliss. Adam Beyer will kick things off for the opening party on July 23rd, followed by the legendary Carl Cox, who will host his birthday bash on July 30th.

Following a successful debut season, SHINE Ibiza also makes a welcome return to the island from July 11th, taking a new residency at Eden. Revellers can expect the truest form of trance music led by the master that is Paul van Dyk. With 11 dates of unadulterated trance music, SHINE Ibiza has already secured itself as one of the hottest nights on the White Isle.

August is the liveliest month of the year in Ibiza and sees the island’s beaches, bars, clubs and restaurants bustling with activity. Nowhere more than at the epic Radio 1 Weekend which is a landmark celebration in Ibiza and will take place between August 2nd and 4th this year. With a series of events hosted at many of the island’s most exclusive venues, the festivities will feature some of the biggest names in the charts. The iconic radio station is now in its 21st year of broadcasting from the island with the event expected to attract huge crowds.

If you are a lover of beer, be sure to check out the Ibiza Beer Festival in September, which will showcase over 150 brands of ale from around the world. Visitors can sample at their pleasure, with great food and live music completing the experience. Also taking place in August is the Eivissa Jazz Festival, which has gained a reputation for being one of the most enthralling events of the year in Ibiza. For five days, international musicians will descend to the island to perform in a series of captivating concerts in the heart of Dalt Vila. With temperatures still in their mid-twenties, visitors gravitate to the island in October to soak up the last of the summer sun. The majority of clubs and restaurants close their doors for the winter this month, finishing the season with a multitude of epic closing parties. Don’t hang up your dancing shoes just yet, as Halloween sees some of the island’s popular venues hosting a handful of frighteningly good events. Full details are still to come, but Pikes, Heart Ibiza and Boutique Hostal Salinas are all expected to get involved again this year.

After the summer shenanigans, you would be mistaken to think that the island was in need of rest and recovery. The spirit of Ibiza continues to live on in November, with Pacha remaining open this month. Expect great parties and big names to grace the decks, with free entrance on offer to residents. If you are looking for a more chilled vibe, head to Malanga Café, which is a popular hangout for pre-party revellers. Located in Ibiza Town, the small but lively bar is a great place to enjoy live music over animated chatter.

With a host of events taking place during the festive season, December is the perfect month to indulge in a winter getaway. As Ibiza continues to bask in the sunshine, great deals are offered at some of the island’s most exclusive hotels. New Year’s Eve in Ibiza is as anticipated as its opening parties, with some great options to ring in the new year. Why not check out Heart Ibiza, where gastronomy, music and art intertwine in a stylish venue. Pacha is also a popular hotspot on this night and is set to dazzle visitors with their annual New Year’s Eve bash.
