San Miguel Festivities (Festes de Sant Miquel)

A celebration of St Michael, the town's patron saint

Imprint
Updated

Known locally as the Festes de Sant Miguel, this small traditional village celebrates its patron saint with a local village fair.

St Michael's Day feasts are celebrated worldwide in a variety of different ways, from parades, fairs, plays and even the drinking of wine called "Saint Michael's Love", popular to this day in Denmark. There are many delicacies on offer and old-fashioned cuisine at the fair in San Miguel and, if you are on Ibiza later in the season, then this is worth a visit.
