Some of the best football players in the world, including a few World Cup winners, are taking a break from the demanding 2018 season in Ibiza.

Several France players have jetted off to Ibiza for a well-deserved break after winning the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The championship's Best Young Player, Kylian Mbappé, met teammates Olivier Giroud and Florian Thauvin at one of the White Isle's nightclubs where they were joined by French DJ David Guetta. Mbappé made the most of Ibiza's nightlife as he was seen at Sebastian Gamboa's Vintage party in Lio and at Black Coffee's residency in Hï Ibiza.

They weren't the only World Cup stars on holidays on the White Isle. Mbappé bumped into Kun Agüero on Thursday on the beach. The Argentinian player spent a few days on the island, sunbathing at the exclusive Blue Marlin Beach Club during the day and partying at Pacha, Ibiza's most famous club, at night.

Also in Ibiza, making the most of the last days off before the season starts, were the two best players in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo flew his family on a private jet to his favourite island. With him was girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and their baby daughter Alana Martina. Meanwhile, Leo Messi sailed to Formentera after attending the wedding of his colleague and friend Cesc Fabregas in Ibiza. But, before that, he met none other than Gloria Estefan in Lio.

But it wasn't only famous footballers who waved July goodbye from Ibiza. Liam Gallagher came here with his daughter Molly and son Lennon during a break on his world tour which resumes on August 10th in central Spain. Last year, it was his brother Noel who visited the island. Lady Amelia Windsor 'The Most Beautiful Royal' was spotted having dinner at Can Suldat, in Es Canar, after sunbathing on Es Niu Blau Beach.
