Springsteen, Gallagher & Jagger in Formentera
Rock royalty relax in Ibiza's neighbouring island
A constellation of celebrities gathered on the paradisiac island of Formentera yesterday. The pic that Jade Jagger posted on her Instagram account took the phrase "squad goals" to a whole other level. It showed hers surrounded by Bruce Springsteen, Noel Gallagher, Poppy Delevigne and Calvin Klein (as well as their significant others and children) post-lunch in Formentera.
Their meeting place was Juan y Andrea, the celebrities favourite restaurant on the Caribbeanesque beach of Ses Illetes. Serving some of the best seafood and Mediterranean cuisine on the island, this restaurant also hosted Springsteen and Gallagher the day before for lunch.
Formentera is The Boss' preferred holiday destination. He was seen here in 2014 when he and wife Patti Scialfa browsed around La Savina market in search for some clothes bargains. He also visited the Balearic island in 2016 accompanying his good friend Tom Hanks, both of them regular visitors to the White Isle where they favour Sa Capella Restaurant.
Springsteen arrived in Formentera on The Rising Sun yacht. The super luxury 138-metre vessel property of billionaire David Geffen has also hosted the likes of Leonardo Di Caprio, Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey, Julia Roberts and Karlie Kloss.
Noel Gallagher got to Ibiza a few days ago with wife Sara Macdonald. The Mancunian rock star used to own a villa on the White Isle which he sold in 2008. Rumour has it the reason for the sale was the fact that James Blunt had bought a house nearby.

The White Isle and its neighbouring sister of Formentera have some of the best Mediterranean restaurants on the globe. However, if you want to eat with your feet in the sand while rubbing shoulders with the stars, book your table at a beach club.
