Dreaming of an Ibizan luxury mansion

Spain's leading company for online real estate listings, idealista, has published a ranking of the most visited luxury houses for sale on their website. Number six has gone to a stunning property right on the coast of San Carlos surrounded by palm trees and extensive gardens.

The house, extending over 1700 m², boasts eight bedrooms, a large 40-metre infinity pool, a tennis court, a jacuzzi with sea views, a cinema room, a fully equipped gym, two guest houses and even a par 3 training golf course. Surrounded by 33,000 m² of tropical gardens, the house is situated atop a beautiful cliff on Cala Mastella, with solid stone stairs leading down to a private sunbathing area and swimming dock.

Prices of luxury properties have increased up to 50% in the Balearics compared to the first half of last year, a rise that explains the 27 million euro price tag on this exclusive mansion.

The first house on idealista's list is an early 20th-century palace in Córdoba (Andalusia), while the second and third place went to penthouses in Madrid, one of them boasting a swimming pool.
