Space relocating to San Antonio?
Rumours say that Space nightclub might move to San Antonio
Mixmag magazine has reported that the infamous Space nightclub, currently in Playa d'en Bossa and due to close on October 2nd before being taken over by Ushuaia, could actually relocate to San Antonio.
Plans to renovate the 3-star Recó des Sol Aparthotel, near the beach in the town of San Antonio, reportedly include a nightclub according to the town's planning department. It now seems that the nightclub will be a re-incarnation of Space, although legendary owner Pepé Roselló has declined to comment.
New rules to avoid the construction of hotel-nightclub venues in San Antonio have been put in place, but Recó des Sol send their application in 2015. Thus, even if the local council is not very happy about it, they will have to grant the license. Will this mean the start of a new era in Ibiza's nightlife?
