Spain's National Meteorological Agency, AEMET, have issued a yellow alert due to high temperatures in Ibiza starting today and continuing until, at least, Friday.

In Mallorca, the yellow alert extends to the southwestern half of the island today, Wednesday, when the mercury will rise up to 35ºC in Palma, 34ºC in Sa Pobla and around 32ºC in the Serra de Tramuntana. The weather warning will expand to the whole of the island on Thursday and Friday when they're expecting that temperatures could reach 38ºC. With minimums well over 20ºC, nights will be tropical.

Ibiza will be on yellow alert until, at least, Friday with thermometres escalating up to 34ºC and not dropping lower than 23ºC at night.

Remember to drink plenty of water and keep cool. Luckily, the island has plenty of beautiful beaches, stylish beach clubs and refreshing watersports to make the best of the heatwave.
