Sa Caleta Beach, South Ibiza
Red cliffs surround this beautiful beach on the south coast
Just before you get to the luxurious beach clubs at nearby Cala Jondal, is a lovely local beach with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Sa Caleta is made up of three bays, all with stunning surrounding red cliff faces.
The terrain is rocky so most people will have an explore before finding their spot and putting their towel down. Popular with families for the shallow calm waters and popular with nudists due to the remote location and rocky outcrops.

Setting & Location
You can explore the area a little by walking up the Phoenician ruins on the headland.
This walk also offers beautiful views back over the entire bay where you can see the full glory of the red cliffs against the clear waters.
A little further round and you can see the pretty cove next door that houses a selection of old boat sheds.
Water Safety & Clarity
The water is shallow and crystal clear, although much of this bay is rocky the entry to the water is surprisingly clear in many places.
Beach Quality
There is some sand here to lay your towel on but much of the beach is shingle and there are some rocky outcrops. The beach itself is narrow and stretches around the cove for some way.
