Ferries run from mainland Spain - ports include Barcelona, Alicante (Denia) and Valencia. Crossing times vary between six and eight hours for a traditional ferry or just under four hours for a catamaran crossing. Inter-Balaeric islands ferries run daily and take between two and four hours for Mallorca (Palma) to Ibiza, and one to three hours for a Mallorca (Alcudia) - Menorca crossing.
