Ibiza's hottest new night returns for a second year to Sankeys Ibiza
New to the Sankeys line-up in 2015 was REDLIGHT, the house and garage night that was mixed and complied by Tough Love.
Club owner David Vincent was the mastermind behind reviving one of the many legendary nights that has been associated with Sankeys over the years. THE REDLIGHT was brought to life and in the summer of 2015 each week saw a mouth watering selection of house and garage superstars from across the ages.
Born out of Tribal Sessions in the 2000s and, with its US garage and sexy house vibes, it is a perfect fit for the intimate and personal Basement experience that is on offer at Sankeys Ibiza. Legend also says it was born after a sleazy hazy visit to the red light district in Amsterdam in 2001 by some of the Sankeys Soap promoters at the time....
As Kerri Chandler once said, “All you need is a basement, a red light and a feeling… “ and that is what Redlight is all about.
On 3rd December David Vincent confirmed the dates of the return of The Redlight to Sankeys Ibiza for the Summer of 2016 starting on May 30th, for a whopping 19 weeks! Last year saw acts like Dj EZ, Matt Jam Lamont, Todd Terry and Chris Lorenzo take to the decks...make sure you stay tuned to see what the 2016 line-up will bring.
