New route from Stansted to Ibiza for summer 2016
British Airways is launching a new flight from Stansted to Ibiza
The flight to Ibiza is part of a series of four new routes, from Stansted to Faro, Malaga, Palma and Ibiza.
The new routes will be operated by BA subsidiary BA City Flyer from May 28th. All four new routes will feature 98-seat Embraer 190 jets, which are usually based at London City Airport, and will offer a choice of two cabins, Club Europe and Euro Traveller.
Luke Hayhoe, British Airways' general manager at BA CityFlyer, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to expand our London network and to give our customers even more choice of where to fly from this summer.
"Stansted is a growing airport and we will be offering a full scheduled service to some of the most popular European holiday destinations, complementing our existing services from other London airports."
For many, Stansted is a convenient airport to fly from, and normally a cheaper alternative to the other London airports. Now there really is no excuse not to come to Ibiza this summer!
