Ibizkus Wines, Santa Gertrudis

The most recent winery on the island producing red, white and rose wines with local grapes

featured in Vineyards & estates Updated

This winery opened in 2007 and is already the largest exporter in Ibiza. They use primarily local Monastrell grapes which produce fruity, easy to drink modern wines of high quality.

They started producing their famous rosé and a red wine while its first white wine was marketed to the public during the summer of 2016. The cellars are situated between the villages of San Rafael and Santa Gertrudis. All grapes are destemmed, aged, vinified and bottled at this location.

With over 30 individual vineyard plots growing grape varieties such as Monastrell, Syrah, Tempranillo, Macabeo, Malvasia Grec, Parellada and Chardonnay, they produce and sell a rosé wine, a white wine, and two red wines under the Ibizkus brand name, and La Savia Divina, a red wine produced in an artisanal, low-technology and non-mechanized manner.

The company’s offices, store and wine tasting room are located on the main road linking the towns of Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, meaning visitors can enjoy an exquisite wine tour during their visit to the island.
