Make Space for an old favourite

It has been an incredible 27 years of Space Ibiza and a legendary 15 year residency for world famous DJ Carl Cox.

Set to come to an end this summer, Space Ibiza will be closing it's doors and handing the keys over to neighbouring club Ushuaia. However, in a recent interview with TicketMaster, Carl Cox himself has admitted that there may be plans to open Space Ibiza at another site!

“Plans are on the table for it opening at another site but it won’t happen for at least two years and will it be the same? We don’t know. I don’t know whether I will be involved because there are so many variables.
At the moment I am quite looking forward to getting three days a week of my life back. I feel like I am ready to kick back a little bit and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Perhaps I might be able to have a girlfriend at long last…I’ve never been in this position before.”

Great news for dance music fans across the globe, with the sad news being that we may have to wait two years...and that Cox may not actually be involved. Will it even be Space with DJ Carl Cox? Who knows!
