Nikki Beach celebrates 20 years in 2019
The global beach brand turns 20 this year
Born in Miami in 1998, Nikki Beach is the most famous beach club brand in the world. Originally named Café Nikki, it was opened in honour of Nicole, Jack Penrod's daughter who perished in a car accident when she was only 18.
Jack and his wife Lucía designed a stunning café surrounded by a paradisiacal zen garden full of flowers and butterflies. Unsurprisingly, Café Nikki became extremely popular and, when they decided to move it to the beach, Nikki Beach as we know it was born. There are now 14 Nikki Beach clubs, hotels and resorts all around the world, including our two favourites in Mallorca and Ibiza, who will be celebrating on Augist 7th from 11:00.
To commemorate that it's been 20 years since their first opening, and to celebrate life like only Nikki Beach knows how, they've created a book, a fragrance and a song. The book, featuring pictures that show their history as well as celebrity quotes and some incredible stories, will be published in April. 'Saint-Tropez' is the name of the new fragrance which will be available for the house as well. Finally, Alexandre Carcelen, a star from The Voice France, has created a special song, 'Forever Young', with a choreography that we'll all dance at the Nikki Beaches around the globe.
Last but not least, there will be huge celebrations at each and every one of the Nikki Beach establishments. Happy 20th birthday, Nikki Beach!
