Extension of Botafoc Marina Means More Cruise Ships for Ibiza
New extension will hold 2 x 300m long ships at once
The Balearic Port Authority (BPA) have announced this week that the work to extend the marina at Botafoc will mean it can house two 300 metre long cruise ships together, bringing more visitors to the Island.
The BPA are keen to see cruises arriving in Ibiza into the winter months as well, but this would mean co-oprdinating the opening of local bars and restaurants to accommodate the visitors.
The new terminal should be opening in time for the start for the 2016 summer season.
