Calling all female DJs from Ibiza
Sankeys offers a residency to a female DJ living on the island
David Vincent, owner of Sankeys Ibiza, one of the best clubs in the world, has decided to change the face of electronic music by supporting women DJs. His first step is to create an all-female residency at Sankeys Sabados.
Vincent is on a quest to, in his own words, "destroy the glass ceiling in the industry". According to Sankeys' owner "There were only 4 female DJs in the resident advisor top 100 2015. Surely there needs to be a more equal balance with males than it currently is. No way should it be 96% men and 4% women."
