1805 Bar, Ibiza Town

French canteen in Dalt Vila serving absinthe & food

featured in Bars & clubs Updated

Combining French flair with Ibiza's artistic soul, you can start your evening with a cocktail at this bar, continue with their brasserie menu, served until 02:30, and finish off your night with a drink at the bar.

The bar is named in honour of Henri-Louis Pernod who launched Pernod absinthe in 1805. The bar is actually specialised in absinthe, which they serve with the classic drip (for free if you have an anchor tattoo!). Signature cocktails include the Green Beast (Pernod absinthe with fresh lime, sugar, water & cucumber), or Sangría 1805 (St Germain liqueur, Peruvian pisco, Noilly Prat dry, fresh lime & sugar).

They serve a snack menu all evening, including mussels, croque monsieur and chips, as well as a dinner menu until 02:30 featuring entrecote, foie gras and goat cheese salad.

Open every day from 20:00 to 04:00.

  • "We come to this little gem of a restaurant every summer and we are never disappointed. The menu is simple for food and elaborate for cocktails. The quality of both is always outstanding and one of the best things is being tucked away in a little-known square watching the local inhabitants going about their business whilst sipping some of the sublime cocktails on the island." - Trip Advisor
  • "Great spot for something different. Either chillin' in a bathtub drinking out of jam jars or quaffing wine whilst tucking into a bowl of steamed mussels; you won't be disappointed. Stick it on your Ibiza bucket list!" - Trip Advisor
  • "Late night in the street of Ibiza Town, starving and desperate for a drink we stumble into Bar 1805..... Such a Spot with an amazing view of the cathedral of Dalt Vila.... The jovial french owner served us confit food and lovely cocktails. We truly recommend the Sea Bream Tartare, Steak & Frites and the speciality absinthe Green Beast" - Trip Advisor
