The bar is named in honour of Henri-Louis Pernod who launched Pernod absinthe in 1805. The bar is actually specialised in absinthe, which they serve with the classic drip (for free if you have an anchor tattoo!). Signature cocktails include the Green Beast (Pernod absinthe with fresh lime, sugar, water & cucumber), or Sangría 1805 (St Germain liqueur, Peruvian pisco, Noilly Prat dry, fresh lime & sugar).

They serve a snack menu all evening, including mussels, croque monsieur and chips, as well as a dinner menu until 02:30 featuring entrecote, foie gras and goat cheese salad.

Refurbished in 2011 following a Heineken sponsorship deal, this is a friendly and funky spot for a drink. With three sassy and suave colour-themed and eclectic spaces, complete with ambient lighting, dynamic chandeliers and edgy artwork adorning the walls, this is the kind of underground nightlife experience that would be found in New York, Tokyo, London or Paris

Its eccentric interior is part curiosity shop, part gentlemen’s club, part opium den, and there is also a relaxed cobbled terrace right in the heart of it all. The owner, 'Captain Jimmy', really knows about cocktails, especially rum combinations, so ask him for suggestions. You can even order food from the restaurant next door.

Although there is a small inside area, everyone sits outside watching the passing traffic of tourists, promoters and the odd drag queen. An Ibizan institute for 25 years, Team Rock bring you a unique lend of characters, full of stories and determined to have fun...and bring you along for the ride.

The best time to come here is around 10pm when things are busy, then head off to a club or bed as it closes at 2am.

Try out their traditional Spanish toasts for breakfast, or order one of the tasty sandwiches, salads and tapas (we recommend the tortilla with bread and tomato). They also have an extensive cocktail list, including all the classics, as well as wines, beers and hot drinks.

The highlight of this bar is their terrace, set on the stone steps (or "Escalinata") right outside the bar. Comfy stools and beanbags have been brought out for you to enjoy the wonderful views.

The barman mixes up some delicious cocktails, so stop by and have a drink on the narrow terrace and soak up the friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Bar Angelo is a vibrant gay bar located in the main gay strip near the port and open from 11pm to 3am.

All the tapas are homemade on the premises, plus there are tables outside so you can graze and watch the world pass by. Alternatively it's a nice stop for a late glass of wine or cold beer.
