The Spaniards love football. So much so that we guarantee that almost every bar in Ibiza you rock up into will be showing the World Cup. However, not all of them will cater solely to the sports fanatics and that's where this guide comes in.

Ibiza and sportsmen come hand in hand. The White Isle is a true magnet for football players who flock to the island every summer. Only last year we hosted Cristiano RonaldoLionel Messi, Luis SuárezDani Alves, Wayne Rooney and Alvaro Morata. This summer, White Isle regular Ronaldo has already been here while Cesc Fabregas came with wife Daniella Semaan in late May, taking advantage of the fact that he wasn't selected for the Spanish squad.

Check out some of the places streaming the World Cup 2018 matches this summer. Who knows, you might even rub shoulders with one of your football heroes!

In Ibiza Town

Located right in front of Marina Ibiza, Blue Marlin is the place to enjoy the World Cup in style with the old town as the backdrop. They will be streaming all the games live on big screens and serving a world-cup inspired menu based on the delicious Peruvian cuisine they're famous for.

STK restaurant is also located on the waterfront, just behind Marina Botafoch. At this fancy eatery, you'll be able to watch the World Cup on their chic Sunset Terrace which is open every day from 19:00. Get on the Champagne Charlies' guestlist and enjoy a discount on bubbles, cocktails, shisha and the lounge menu.

Right on the opposite side of the marina, at the foot of Dalt Vila, Divino Cafe are also showing all of the World Cup 2018 matches. Book a table and ask for a jug of their fresh sangria, you won't regret it!

In Sant Antoni

Sant Antoni's best-known English haunt, Linekers, will be showing all of the World Cup matches on their HD plasma TVs. On the buildup to the games, their DJs will warm up the atmosphere while you enjoy a beer or, why not, a couple of jaeger bombs. Book one of their VIP booths with private TV and a free round of shots for a more exclusive experience.

Also on San Antonio's seafront but a bit closer to the town centre is Plastik where all the World Cup games will be shown paired with their famous clubbing vibe. Two hours before the match, DJs will get the party going while shots and beers start flowing. There are also VIP booths available here.

The infamous West End party spot in Sant Antoni is well-known for its cheap drinks and even cheaper after-party food. Crowds of young foreigners flock to Carrer Santa Agnès every night during the summer and each will be supporting their own country during the World Cup, turning the area into a true kaleidoscope of football passions. Many of the pubs that line these streets will be showing the games on big screens with English commentary, including the Irish Shenanigans and the Scottish The Highlander. Families beware, the atmosphere can get pretty rowdy down here!

In Santa Eularia

Project Social is located right in the heart of Santa Eulalia. They serve the town's best craft beer and street food, a perfect combo to watch the games. In honour of the World Cup 2018, they've bought a brand new 55in TV which they have set up in their recently built backroom. Their kitchen is open non-stop until 23:30 and serves juicy burgers, fresh salads and hearty bites including chicken wings and chorizo scotch eggs.

A bit further up the coast, in Es Canar, lies Factory, an America bar & smokehouse where you can enjoy all the matches on big screens both inside and on their terrace. Just order their slow-cooked smoked ribs and enjoy the magic.

In your own villa (or yacht)

Most of the island's luxury villas boast huge TVs and large fridges to chill all those packs of beer bought at the local supermarket. If you'd rather not leave the house, Flying Pig Ibiza are offering private World Cup 2018 party packages including freshly made BBQ, hog roast, crispy ham and ice-cold tap beer delivered to your door. They even throw in a giant screen if your villa hasn't got one.
