Former Space premises will become Hï Ibiza this summer
We all wept at Space's farewell last October, but we knew that it would probably turn into something awesome in the hands of Ushuaïa. Well... they've revealed its new website and name, Hï Ibiza, and so far it looks amazing.
Geared towards clubbers, party animals, dreamers, hedonists, troublemakers and old skoolers, "The club will stay true to the open-minded spirit of Ibiza, bringing together music lovers to dance, discover and experience the magic of the White Isle", according to the website. We can probably expect the biggest names in the EDM industry along with spectacular light, video and sound shows throughout the summer.
Nothing much has been unveiled yet, but the colourful, dream-like vision shown on the site and the conceptual video (see below) that Ushuaïa have shared goes hand in hand with the nightlife company's high-quality, dramatic party production. Their press release says "Hï Ibiza aims to unite the highest standards of music and entertainment, bringing world-class music experiences to a club designed with the dancer in mind. This state of the art club will showcase the most exciting names in electronic music throughout the summer, from the biggest stars in the scene to the leading lights of the underground, continuing the island’s legacy as the party capital of the world."
So, hello Hï Ibiza! Welcome to our beautiful island.
