Another summer weekend, another host of celebrities and millionaires visiting the White Isle. Ibiza just stays at the top of the list of destinations of choice for the rich and famous year after year. Its crystalline Mediterranean waters, secluded coves, luxury accommodation and world-renowned nightlife are just some of the reasons why the well-heeled have made it their favourite summer spot.

Last weekend, two groups of wealthy friends decided to visit the island aboard luxury yachts. Hollywood stars Amy Schumer and Jerry Seinfeld took a break in their jam-packed schedules to enjoy some sunbathing in Ibiza together with their partners. The comedians were seen disembarking in Formentera where they had lunch at notorious celeb-favourite beach restaurant Juan y Andrea.

A bit less modest was Google co-founder, Sergey Brin's arrival on one of the largest sailing boats in the world, the Maltese Falcon. This is not the first time this gigantic yacht, which costs around $400,000 per week to charter, has sailed the Ibizan waters. Only billionaires like Brin, whose net worth is estimated at more than 51 billion dollars can afford such a holiday. He was joined by IT mogul Steven Jurvetson.

Victoria Secret's angel, Alessandra Ambrosio, jets off to Ibiza whenever she can. Last Friday, she was seen in Ses Salines beach wearing the verde-amarela, Brazil national football team's shirt. In the afternoon, she headed over to Beso Beach Club to watch the World Cup as Brazil was playing Belgium. We don't think she liked the score too much as her team lost 2-1 against the 'Red Devils'.
