Paris Hilton, honorary ambassador of Ibiza
The heiress has been visiting the island for years
Paris Hilton started coming to Ibiza when she was a little girl and she hasn't missed a summer on the White Isle. The island's authorities have recognised her close relationship with Ibiza by appointing her Honorary Ambassador of the Ibiza Luxury Destination brand.
At the event that took place on Thursday at the ME Ibiza Hotel in Santa Eulalia, local officials emphasised Paris' commitment to promoting Ibiza all around the world. She responded saying how Ibiza is a "unique place with a special energy" where she'll keep "coming to all her life". She particularly loves the island's beaches and its nightlife, a side of the White Isle she knows very well as, for five years, she was the resident DJ at the Foam & Diamonds party in Amnesia.
The famous businesswoman took part in a charity event in support of Apneef, Ibiza's Association in Aid of People with Special Needs, last Monday, this time with her fiance Chris Zylka. She announced her appointment as Honorary Ambassador then, saying how her friends call her the "Queen of Ibiza" and how she hopes to keep visiting the island with her family and children in years to come.
