A Good Summer for the Balearics Property Market

More transactions & higher prices in Mallorca & Ibiza this July

featured in Property news Updated

The Spanish National Institute of Statistics have released their July 2015 rankings for the property market in the country and the Balearics have come out on top for both the number of transactions and for rising in prices.

The number of purchases in the islands has increased a 37.4% compared to last year, making it the highest growth in Spain this July.

Prices have also gone up an average 7.3%, with 7.8% for new homes and 7.4% for second-hand ones.

This good news continues a period of positive results for Mallorca and Ibiza's real estate markets, which fortunately does not seem to have an end in sight.
