Hike to Dalt Vila

Once you have fuelled your body with the island’s goodness, now is the perfect time to partake in a spot of hiking. Perched upon a hilltop, creating a striking skyline that has become iconic to Ibiza is the ancient walled fortress of Dalt Vila. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a treasure trove of cobbled streets and narrow passageways leading to spectacular panoramas of the island. There are two ways to enjoy the majestic old town, each offering something uniquely fascinating. By following the trail of bulwarks you can soak up the vast architectural works that make up the 16th-century fortress, passing above the city, port and coast. It is also well recommended to get lost in the alleyways and small squares that are peppered within the walls, following a winding trail typical of a medieval quarter.
