The beach tends to be fairly quiet first thing as there is not a lot of accommodation near by, so get up early and make your way there to enjoy the tranquil waters and a quick dip in the morning.
The little boat huts are a great backdrop for photos and swimming in this calm and sheltered bay is divine. The rocky outcrop offers yet another great photo opportunity, along with the wooden jetty to the left of the beach if you are looking for that classic Es Vedra shot.
Parking can be tricky as there is a relatively narrow road that leads down to the beach and then some rough parking areas at the bottom that stretch inland. As with many of the beaches, if you can take a moped then you will have no problem parking.
The beach is 150m long with sun loungers and parasols to hire, and has been awarded the Blue Flag consistently since 2007.
